Wake up and smell the roses at the National Trust’s Gunby Hall this Sunday, when all admissions for the Rose Day, open from 11am to 5pm, will be donated to St Peter’s Church, the picturesque church just outside the
Gunby gardens.

The abundance of roses will be at their best and there will also be a special rose display in the stables and many flower arrangements in the house, while the courtyard will be filled with trade and craft stalls, with plenty of Gunby plants for sale too.

Local author Margaret Dickinson will be signing books in St Peter’s Church for most of the day, where there will also be flowers, music and a tombola.
