Helen Zalwewski is the latest locally based artist to benefit from a series of special exhibitions at the Joseph Banks Centre in Horncastle.
Every month, the centre features the work of an artist from the Horncastle area.
And this month is the turn of Mareham le Fen based Helen, who is fast carving a name for herself by using different fabrics - and buttons - to create landscapes.
London born Helen moved to Lincolnshire as her husband was in the Armed Forces.
She turned to her particular from of art three years ago after launching her own business called ‘Spare Time.’
Helen’s work is regularly featured at the centre, but she is hoping the month-long promotion will raise even more awareness of her impressive work - and attract even more buyers.
As part of the exhibition, Helen is offering a unique prize and will create a landscape for anyone who can identify the location of one of her works.
The exhibition is open daily at the Centre (10am-4pm) which is at 7-13 Bridge Street, Horncastle. There is free entry.
