The ‘Tennyson 8’ multi-terrain running race takes place on Sunday September 20 in support of LIVES.
The event, open to club runners and non-club runners alike, starts at 10am from the George and Dragon pub in Hagworthingham.
The race is run in the heart of the Wolds on a mainly off-road scenic route through the birthplace of Lord Alfred Tennyson, hence the name Tennyson 8.
There will be spot prizes, as well as age category prizes and for the first unaffiliated runner to finish.
Event organisers are also looking for a main sponsor and businesses to sponsor individual races and donate prizes.
Contact LIVES HQ on 01507 525999 if you can help.
