The Wolds Bikers are holding their annual Charity Bike Night at the Coach and Horses this Friday to raise money for two important local causes.
Money raised from the night will be shared between LIVES and the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
Organiser John Smith said: “We run this event to give bikers, non-bikers and local traders the opportunity to share an evening together to chat, have a drink and sample the burgers cooked by club members and to raise money for the club’s nominated charities.
“We are aiming to beat last year’s figure and if the reaction of the crowds at Boston Bike night last Thursday is anything to go by - 750 flyers were handed out - then yes, we will beat it.”
The night takes place at the Coach and Horses pub in Billinghay and starts at 6pm running til late.
John added: “Our Charity Bike Night is as old as the club itself and the Coach and Horses is the ideal location for the event.
“There is loads of space to accommodate trade and club stands and plenty of parking space for bikes and cars, and the pub will be open of course.”
Rock band Gin House will be performing on the night, keeping the entertainment going with rhythm & blues and rock classics.
The club also holds its meetings at the Coach and Horses, meeting on the first and third Monday of every month.
Riders and non-riders are welcome to attend.
