The Cottage Museum in Woodhall Spa is presenting two events in July to help raise funds for the venue.
A talk by local BBC Radio Lincolnshire Farming correspondent Alan Stennett on “The Railways at War” will be presented at Coronation Hall, Spa Road, Woodhall Spa on Saturday July 12 starting at 2.30 pm. Admission is £5.
Alan is a very respected expert on the railways and his talk is certain to be interesting.
In a new departure for the museum, it will host an evening of wine tasting on Friday July 25.
The tasting of wines from around the world will be hosted by a local wine expert. It is an all-ticket event and the price of £10 includes the cost of all the wines tasted.
Tickets for both events are available from Roger Webb who can be contacted on 01526 353029
