The Friends of St Mary’s have a fine record of bringing some amazing talent to Horncastle.
Everyone who enjoyed Mervyn Stutter’s recent visit certainly received tremendous value for money.
His performance was the centrepiece of a memorable evening which helped raise important funds.
However, the Friends are hoping to top that when they stage their next show on the next show on Friday April 25.
Star billing will feature a familiar face to church-goers.
Chris Hinkins is St Mary’s long serving organist.
Supported by his wife, Gail Hinkins, and friend Chris Liversidge, they are set to perform their new programme of popular music greats.
It will feature everything - from Chopin to the London shows.
The evening is dedicated to the memory of Ann Wayne and Diana Wilkins who would have been moved to learn proceeds will help preserve the town’s oldest and most valued building.
The performance starts at 7.30pm. Admission is £10, £8 concessions and £5 under 16s. Refreshments are available.
