The Sir Joseph Banks Tribute Garden in Horncastle will open to the public on Sunday September 14 (1.30-4.30pm) as part of the National Gardens charity fund raising scheme.
The garden’s courtyard setting is renowned for providing an attractive oasis in the busy market town. It features 70 different species of plants, many collected on Sir Joseph’s voyage with Capt. Cook on HMS Endeavour.
Admission is £2.50 with children free of charge. Refreshments will be available.
