There is no need for children to be bored during the Summer Holidays as The Cottage Museum at Woodhall Spa has a number of children’s activities planned over the next few weeks.
On Wednesday August 6 two sessions entitled “Garden Explorers” are on offer allowing children to discover secrets in the garden and to take part in some craft activities.
The following Wednesday, August 13 there are two sessions called “Donkey Tales” about the donkeys, Jack and Polly, who used to live with the Wield family when the museum was the Wield family home. Sessions are held from 10am to 12 noon and 1.30pm to 3.30pm on both days and cost £3 per person.
Sunday September 14 is Heritage Open Day and drop in sessions will be held all day from 10.00 with activities inspired by the museum and its collection.
So why not bring your children along to enjoy something a bit different during the holidays. Enquiries to Gill Noble on 01526 353455.
