West Ashby WI
February marked the 70th anniversary of West Ashby WI and a beautiful cake was made for the occasion by Lyn White.
The cake was duly cut by Lyn’s daughter, Alice, the youngest member, and everyone was given a birthday card featuring a photograph of all the members.
A visitor to the monthly meeting was federation chairman Chris Morgan, who mentioned there was to be a pantomime next year and suggested some of the members may wish to take part.

She passed round items to identify and then proceeded to make up a story using the answers – all very impressive and clever.
