Andy Ratcliffe, area highways manager at Lincolnshire County Council, said: “It is a great privilege to have the Canadian Lancaster coming to our area, and we’ve been working closely with the RAF to plan and prepare for this.
“With the numbers of people that may travel to the area, we’re going to introduce some road closures and restrictions to help manage the traffic.
“My advice to anyone who’s not interested in seeing the Canadian Lancaster is to avoid travelling on main roads.
“I expect the A153 to be very busy and so will other routes in-and-around Coningsby. If you are coming to see it, please be prepared for possible delays.”
