Woodhall Spa Flower Club has raised £1,000 towards the restoration of St Peter’s Church’s rare 101-year-old organ.
The money was raised at the clubs Emerald Anniversary Celebratory Flower Festival, which also marked the church’s 120th year.
More than 50 members of the group enjoyed the fun floral event which saw a wealth of arrangements on display and plenty of tea and cake enjoyed by the many visitors.
It’s a busy 55th year for the flower club with an Open Meeting coming up at Gartree School on September 15 followed on October 20 by its Emerald Anniversary afternoon tea at The Petwood Hotel.
