First time opening for Boston gardens

Two Boston gardens open for the first time this Sunday, August 14, as part of the National Garden Scheme.

The Butterfly Hospice garden, in Rowan Way, is set in four acres and features a mixture of traditional beds, orchard and large wildflower meadow.

There are willow arbours, pathways and disabled access greenhouse with raised beds.

Cream teas are available but must be booked.

General admission is £3.

Also open will be the Willoughby Road allotments.

Several of the 60 plots will be open.

There will also be a seed and plant stall.

Both gardens are open from 11am to 4pm.
