Members of Woodhall Spa WI enjoyed their December meeting when Doreen Allars gave a demonstration of festive food.
They sampled canapes, puddings, cakes and mince pies with hot mulled wine.
A competition for a Christmas decoration from recycled materials was won by Sue Lonsdale.
Together with Spa Afternoon, a carol service was held in St. Peter’s Church and 85 members of various WI’s attended.
Proceeds of a collection and raffle of £190 went to the Nomad Trust in Lincoln.
Next month’s meeting is on Monday, January 14 when Mark Schofield, from the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, will talk about wild flower conservation in verges and gardens.
