Annie Binns, who trained as a cathedral guide and used to conduct school tours, gave an amusing and informative illustrated talk on Past Personalities from Lincoln Cathedral at the July meeting of the WI.

Members were told lots of fascinating details which children had asked about, such as William the Conqueror being too fat to fit into his coffin.

The next meeting will be held in the Methodist Hall on September 6 at 7.30pm.

As always, visitors are welcome to go along to the meeting free of charge to see if they would like to join the group.
