TALENTED young swimmers Georgia Barnett and Ellie Burton could be future Olympic champions - if their latest efforts are anything to go by.
They recently swam 5000 metres - the equivalent of 200 lengths - at Horncastle Swimming Pool.
It was an impressive effort from the two girls who are aged nine and eight respectively.
There was a double challenge for the duo. Apart from winning a trophy, badge and certificate to mark their long-distance achievement, they also raised more than £874 for the Otters Swimming Club, which is based at the pool.
The money will go towards buying equipment and coaching for club members.
It’s hardly a surprise Georgia and Ellie were successful. They swam their first mile at the age of just five.
