Coningsby councillors consider plans to improve popular BMX facility

COUNCILLORS in Coningsby will hold a site meeting at the Allan Barker Recreation Ground to examine the BMX track which needs resurfacing.

The track has been well  used during the two-and-a-half years it has been open and  councillors plan to obtain  quotes for the work.

A road leading to the site is also in urgent need of repair and will be examined during the meeting.

Another picnic table at the Recreation Ground has been damaged by vandals.

Police are aware of the  situation.
