TENNIS: Woodhall Spa club will kick season off with open day

The club are kicking things off with an Open Day at their courts in Jubilee Park on Sunday, beginning at 10.30 a.m.

If you have not yet seen the improvements that have been made to the club’s facilities, you are welcome to go along to the Open Day and have a look at the refurbished and extended clubhouse, resurfaced courts and new floodlights.

Past, present and prospective members are welcome to come along and meet the coaches and enjoy some tennis. Refreshments will be available.

Subscriptions are now due and can be paid at the Open Day. Adult £60, Family £120, Juniors £20. The first 20 people who pay their membership that day will have the opportunity to buy theatre tickets for less than half price for the Dolly Parton musical “9 to 5” at Boston. There will also be a raffle at the Open Day for a hamper of goodies.

Club nights/coaching sessions are as follows: Monday – Ladies’ Night from 6.30 pm; Tuesday – Men’s Night; Wednesday – Club Night (unless there is a home Mixed Match fixture); Thursday – Social Night, 8-10pm; Friday – Junior Social Night, dates to be arranged; Saturday and Sunday – Men’s and Ladies’ Doubles League Matches plus Junior Tournaments (dates to be arranged).
