Philp, from East Kirkby, will be contesting two races again in the British Supersport class, the short sprint race on Saturday and the feature race on Sunday.

Last time out he finished the sprint race in the points, but was involved in someone else’s crash in the feature race and fell, dislocating his shoulder.

The injury has been rested for a few weeks because of the four-week break to allow for the TT races, and although it is still a little sore, Philp is keen to get back in the saddle this weekend.

It will be the first time Kirton rider Clarke has been back to the circuit since he crashed there two years ago.

He spent a few days in hospital after suffering a badly-damaged arm which prevented him from completing the rest of the season.

He missed the meeting at Knockhill last year.

Clarke is out first on Friday when the stock 600 class take to the track at 9.15am on Friday for free practice and then again at 2pm for the first of two qualifying sessions.

On Saturday final qualifying takes place at 2.50pm.

There is a short warm-up on Sunday morning at 9.50am ahead of the 22-lap race at 2.15pm.

Tommy is out at 9.55am on Friday for free practice and again later in the day at 2.40pm.

The solitary qualifying session is on Saturday at 10.55am and that sets the grid for the 18-lap sprint race at 5.10pm.

There is a short warm-up at 10.03am for the riders to make sure the bikes are all ok for the 26-lap feature race at 3.35pm.
