Woodhall Spa star India Clyburn and her England teammates were in seventh heaven after winning the Girls’ Home Internationals in Ireland last week.
England have now won the title seven years in a row and they secured their victory by beating Wales 7-2.
That success followed wins against Ireland and Scotland as England recorded a 100 per cent record.
India, fresh from her success in the English Girls Championship, was in outstanding form against Wales.
She and her teammates won all three foursomes in the morning and she followed up with a six-and-five success in the top singles.
Today they got off to an ideal start by winning all three morning foursomes. Then English girls’ champion India Clyburn continued the charge with a 6/5 win in the top singles.
Although every member of the team contributed to the overall victory, India led the way - achieving six wins from six outings.
India said: “It’s awesome for England to win seven times in a row and I’m so happy to be part of the winning team this year.”
Among the team’s supporters in Ireland were India’s sister, Holly Clyburn, and Hannah Burke – both former England internationals who now play on the Ladies European Tour.
