Woodhall Spa Croquet Club have had another busy week.

On Sunday, they entertained visitors from Norwich Croquet Club, which was followed by an evening meal at The Inn. On Thursday morning, Lincoln Ladies Who Lunch had fun at a taster session, followed by lunch at the Village Limits.

A bit of light relief when members were invited by club chairman Bob Potter to take part in his Fun Day last Tuesday.

Bob spent most of the year thinking up, designing and making equipment for croquet-themed fun games, which involved hitting croquet balls over see-saws and through hoops, and golf balls through tunnels with croquet mallets. But the most entertaining were probably the croquet long jump and croquet high jump! A lot of fun was had by all.

Winner of the men’s trophy was Barrie Darling and the ladies’ was won by Pauline Donner.
