Cadwell Park race circuit will be honouring its 80th anniversary in 2014 with a special event on Sunday August 3.
It will feature racing and displays to celebrate the venue’s history - and its legendary status within the motorcycle community.
The celebration will be organised by Auto 66.
The Scarborough-based motorcycle club is a regular visitor to the circuit and will be staging contests set to reflect the last eight decades.
The programme will feature three special celebration races including ‘The Classic King of Cadwell’ - a 10-lap race for pre-1972 machinery from 251cc to 750cc, recalling the King of Cadwell races from the past.
Celebrations will also include ‘Classic Racer Champions of Cadwell Parades’ which will feature a selection of famous bikes ridden by big names of the sport.
Off circuit attractions range from bike and car displays, a bike trial display and live music. For more information visit www.cadwellpark.co.uk
