Classy Kimsey in winning start

WOODHALL SPA golfer Nathan Kimsey made a winning start on his full England debut earlier today (Thursday).

The 19-year-old was called up by England for the Home International Series at Gailes Links, Glasgow, after a brilliant season which has seen him challenge for a number of top titles.

England opened their defence of the Home International title against Wales this morning and Kimsey partnered Callum Shinkwin to a 4&3 victory against Jonathan Bale and Luke Thomas.

In the afternoon singles, Kimsey was two up after six holes against Welsh opponent Richard James and looked to be on course for a 100 per cent record.
