Horncastle Town were defeated at home by a well organised Winterton side, but achieved a much improved result and performance after a tougher defeat away early in the season.

There was great play from all the players, and there were several opportunities for a goal as Horncastle pushed forward in the second half.

Player of the match award was given to Phoebe Robinson who had a fantastic game in defence.

The team thanked Neil Brookes for refereeing the match. It was a well supported game and Horncastle welcomed Winterton back to the clubhouse for snacks after the match.
