Woodhall Spa secured their place in the second round of the Andrew Bandelow Memorial League Cup with a 3-2 win over Waddington United.

A brace from George Asplin and a goal from Jamie Roberts were enough to put Spa past their opponents.

On Sunday, in the Second Round of the George Addlesee Trophy, Spa travel to Ruston Sports Central for an early 10.45am kick-off.

Horncastle Town take on Pointon in a 1.30pm kick-off in their cup fixture.
