Horncastle Town needs you

HORNCASTLE Town Football Club has qualified for the regional finals of the Lloyds TSB Community Fund Awards.

The club are on a shortlist of four projects, of which two will be awarded £5,000 to help their community aims.

It has qualified through the strength of its junior sides, running seven teams in the Mid-Lincs League from U10s to U16s.

The club also runs coaching for U7s, U8s and U9s, and an U16s side for youngsters with disabilities.

Horncastle has FA Charter Standard and prides itself on the number of youngsters and young people who are involved and benefit from this sporting opportunity, both playing and coaching.

Needless to say the club relies entirely on volunteers and sponsorship to run.

An award such as this will go a long way to secure the future and ensure the club’s high standards are maintained.
