FOOTBALL: Wragby put on their Sunday best

Wragby stepped up their challenge for the Division One title in the Sills and Betteridge Sunday League with a 1-0 win over Hykeham Manor.

The victory leaves Wragby five points clear of nearest challengers Dynamo Varsity in the 
battle for a place in the top flight.

In Division Two, Woodhall Spa hammered St Helens 7-1 to join rivals Rustons United at the top of the table.

Both sides have 25 points although Woodhall have played one more game than Rustons.

Horncastle based AFC Harpars saw their hopes of grabbing the outright leadership of Division Three dashed by a 2-2 draw at mid-table Crows Athletic.

Harpars are joint leaders with Trent Valley FC who beat third placed FVA Jerusalem Reserves 6-5 in an 11-goal thriller.
