FOOTBALL: Wragby look to put on their Sunday best

Top-of-the-table Wragby will be looking to boost their title challenge in Division One of the Sills and Betteridge Sunday League when they entertain Hykeham Memorial this weekend.

Wragby have won six of their nine league games this season and have a two point advantage over second placed Dynamo Varsity.

Encouragingly, Wragby also have a game in hand and will start Sunday’s encounter as strong favourites as rivals Hykeham are struggling at the other end of the table with just one win from eight games.

In Division Two, Woodhall Spa could take over top spot on Sunday - if they beat St Helens at home and fellow title hopefuls Rustons United lose at Travellers Rest.

There are just two points between the sides going into the fixtures with Woodhall looking for an eighth league win of the campaign.

All eyes will also be on Horncastle based Harpars AFC as they look to strengthen their hold on top spot in Division Three.

Harpars will visit Crows Athletic this Sunday and will pack plenty of confidence after stunning Heighington 6-3 in their last game with Michael Harness grabbing a hat-trick. Jack Baxter (2) was also among the goals,
