Woodhall Spa United and Coningsby FC will be looking to hit the winning trail tomorrow (Saturday) in the quarter finals of the Boston and District League’s Willoughby Cup (ko: 1.45pm).
United will entertain Billinghay Athletic while Coningsby host Fosdyke.
United will be aiming to shrug off some indifferent league form in recent weeks while Coningsby will be looking to build on last week’s 6-3 win against Friskney in the semi finals of the Challenge Cup.
Will Laird, Martin Maddison, Sean Taylor, Tom Sewell, Carl Wilson and Jamie Todd were all on target for Coningsby in that victory and could be key figures tomorrow.
In the league, bottom of the table Mareham United face another daunting task in the Premier Division when they host Pointon.
Mareham took the lead at Fishtoft last week with an own goal in the opening few seconds but that was as good as it got as they eventually went down 11-1.
In Division Two, AFC Tetford host Billinghay Athletic Reserves and Coningsby Reserves travel to Leverton.
Tetford’s Reserves face an away clash at Division Three rivals FC Boston.
