FOOTBALL: Woodhall Spa continue table climb

Woodhall Spa United continued their charge up the Boston Taylors Garages Second Division with a 2-1 win at Skegness United Reserves.

The win on the coast was their fourth in a row and Spa have three games in hand over Ruskington Rovers who they could catch to go third in the table.

Mareham United’s fixture against Wyberton in the Premier Division was postponed due to bad weather.

Their Reserve side, however, playing in Division Two, fell to a 2-1 defeat to Nelson.

Free-scoring AFC Tetford continued their goal glut as they beat Rippingale & Folkingham Reserves 5-3.

Tetford have scored 36 goals in seven games.
