FOOTBALL: Town boss Simmons aiming for a Broadley bonus

Manager Mark Simmons will be hoping his Horncastle Town Development Squad can continue their winning ways in the Lincoln and District League tomorrow (Sunday).

Town travel to Division Five rivals Broadley looking to build on last Sunday’s morale boosting 11-0 win against William Foster Reserves.

Tomorrow’s clash promises to be much tougher with Town in fourth place in the table and Broadley in fifth.

All eyes will be on strikers Luke Blondel and Tom Sewell who grabbed seven of Town’s 11 goals last weekend.

In other games tomorrow, Wragby host Plough Sturton looking for three points which would ease them even further away from the First Division danger zone.

Bardney face a test of character in Division Four when they visit Heighington looking to put last week’s 6-4 defeat against Old Boys United behind them.

Craig Good (2) and Josh Cheetham were among the scorers for Bardney last week and could be key figures tomorrow.
