Greenbank JFC Imps U10s 0-10 Horncastle Town U10s

Horncastle Under 10s travelled to Lincoln for their second game of the season against Greenbank Imps and recorded a convincing win.

The opening exchanges were quite tight, both teams counter attacking each other with purpose, but with Horncastle looking the more likely to score.

In the eighth minute the deadlock was broken with Lewis Janney breaking down the right and cutting in before placing his shot into the corner of the net.

The game continued to be tight until Horncastle got their second through Ollie Bradley. This gave Horncastle the confidence to go on and score three more before half time with Lewis and Ollie scoring their second and Jhoven Ramones deservedly getting a poachers goal through shear determination. 5-0 at half time and on came Lucas Walters and George Billington for Jhoven and Owen Wilkinson.

Within six minutes of the re-start Horncastle had scored two more, both going to Fraser Pemberton. Shortly afterwards and within three minutes of each other the superb Ollie Bradley had scored his hatrick, placing into the net from a Lucas Walters cross and his fourth, placing the ball into the top corner.

As the game wore on Fraser went into goal to allow Sam Baldock to play outfield, for the second week running. Sam had an immediate impact on the game showing skill down the right and getting himself a goal to boot.
