FOOTBALL: Mixed results for Horncastle and Woodhall Spa

IT was a mixed weekend for our local teams in the Lincolnshire Intermediate Football League.

Woodhall Spa ran riot, putting seven past Hykeham Tigers Bees and only conceding two. Goals came from George Asplin, Lewis Lovegrove, Jordan Askew, Callum Cheetham (2) and Fraser Codd (2).

Horncastle Town had a more difficult opponent in Kirkstead, eventually losing this away game 4–0.

This weekend Woodhall Spa are at home to Waddington United and Nettleham make the trip to Horncastle, both games kick off at 2.15pm on Sunday, October 14.
