The concluding night of Horncastle six-a-side league threw up some fantastic games.

All eyes were on Ginger Gaffer FC who needed a win to force AC a Little Silhouetto of Milan to have to beat the very strong OGFC to win the league. Second to bottom Bad Intentions had clearly not read the script as they took the lead from the penalty spot, only for Jack Harwood to equalise.

Ginger Gaffer threw everything at Bad Intentions in the second half but came up against an outstanding Marvin Lea who preserved the draw, meaning AC a Little Silhouetto of Milan just needed to ensure they did not lose by a deficit of eight. They duly lost 2-0 to OGFC to be crowned champions.

Beercelona beat third placed Tekkerslovkia 2-1 to finish fourth. Team Lean comfortably beat basement side Ivory Toast 4-1 to finish fifth.
