Mareham United are still marooned at the foot of the Premier Division table in the Boston League - despite a much improved performance against Ruskington Rovers last Saturday.
Mareham went down 4-1 and are still looking for their first point of the campaign after five games.
Ominously, they have conceded 47 goals – and scored just three.
Premier Division rivals Woodhall Spa United saw their hopes of climbing the table dashed by a 2-1 defeat at home to Wyberton Reserves at Abbey Lane.
There was much happier news for AFC Tetford who were celebrating a league and couple double.
The first team crushed AFC Boston 6-2 in the first round of the League Cup while the Reserves battled to a 3-2 victory against Benington Reserves in a Division Three game.
