Horncastle Town U14s are currently flying the flag for the club in the Mid Lincs Youth League.

Town top the ‘B’ Division table although they are level on points with arch rivals Lincoln United who have two games in hand.

Town boast a record of seven wins and two defeats from their nine games while Lincoln have yet to drop a point.

In the U16 competition, Town are well placed in the ‘C’ Division table.

A return of five wins from 11 games leaves them in fourth place, a point behind Saxilby Athletic and two behind joint leaders Heckington Juniors and Birchwood Colts.

Town are also challenging for a top four place at U15 level. Beaten just twice this term, they are battling for honours in ‘C’ Division with the likes of Hykeham Tigers, Swifts and leaders HBW United Colts.

At U13 level, Town are in a mid-table position but a win could move them into a top four position in Division ‘B’.

Town U12s are struggling at the foot of the ‘A’ Division table but the U11s are faring much better in Division ‘C’ of their competition.

They have nine points from 13 games and are just behind Hykeham Tigers Bees and Welton Arrows in the latest standings.

*Several of Town’s junior teams are scheduled to be in action tomorrow (Sunday) - weather permitting.

Full details of fixtures and kick off times can be found on the club’s website.
