They say there’s no substitute for experience. However, try telling that to Horncastle Town U11s.

They defeated the club’s U12s 4-2 last Sunday in a ‘friendly’ encounter.

In league, the U18s returned to action, but lost 3-0 at Northgate Olympic.

The U14s went down 1-0 at Long Bennington. The U10s found league leaders Retford United to be too hot to handle and were well beaten.

This Sunday, the U18s visit Young Dons (2pm) while the U16s travel to Metheringham (10.45).

The U15s are in action at Hykeham Tigers Bees (10.45) and the U13s are visiting Greenbank (10.45).

The U12s are in action at home to Louth Old Boys on Saturday (10.45) while the U14s and U10s will also enjoy home advantage on Sunday against St Helens and HBW United respectively (10.45).
