Horncastle Town Reserves will be looking to kick off the New Year in style next Saturday (January 3).

Town entertain Lincoln and District League leaders RM Imp at The Wong (2pm) aiming to end their high flying visitors’ 100 per cent record.

It promises to be a tough assignment for boss Andrew Fenn and his squad as RM Imp have rattled off ten wins from ten games this term, scoring 47 goals in the process.

Town, though, have been beaten just twice and are confident they have the firepower in the shape of players like leading scorer Luke Blondel to spring an upset.

Town are currently fourth in the standings but are just one point off second place which is currently occupied by Birchwood.

Birchwood, though, were tipped to pick up a win today when they visited rock bottom Crown and Arrow in just one of two scheduled league games.
