Four goals from Skegness Town’s Will Britton at CGB Humbertherm took his season’s league tally to 17. Britton’s contribution helped the seasiders to a 7-0 win at their East Lindsey rivals.

Elsewhere, Ben Wyld struck twice as Hykeham Town hit four past high-flying Sleaford Town Reserves. Wyberton maintained their title challenge with a solitary goal victory at Cleethorpes Town Development Squad.

Horncastle led local rivals Rasen by two goals to nil at the interval.

Carl Smith’s cross-cum-shot gave them an early lead and, just before the break, Michael Harness swept the ball home to double the advantage.

Richard Jackson’s fifth league goal of the season made the points safe.

Leaders Skegness Town hit seven past CGB Humbertherm at Fulstow to open a four point gap at the top of the table.

Top marksman Will Britton grabbed four to take his total to 20 in all competitions.

Jordan Smith was also on the scoresheet with a brace of goals, while Miles Chamberlain scored his third league goal of the season.

Nicky Frost’s winner at Cleethorpes kept the pressure on leaders Skegness Town.

The three points consolidated Wyberton’s third place in the table, leaving them just six points behind the seasiders, with two games in hand.

Ben Wyld notched twice for Hykeham Town as they saw off the challenge of high-flying Sleaford Town Reserves.

Michael Sullivan and Steven Mehta netted one apiece to help lift Hykeham into fourth.
