Horncastle Town will be aiming to make the most of home advantage tomorrow (Saturday) when they return to Sills and Betteridge Premier League action against CGB Humbertherm at The Wong (3pm).
Although Town drew 3-3 at Nettleham last Saturday in the group stages of the Supplementary Cup, boss Paul Johnson will be looking for an improved display.
Town produced a lively attacking display but were vulnerable at the back and Johnson could make changes.
He must also decide whether to retain former Boston United striker Mickey Stone who celebrated his return to the club with one of the goals at Nettleham.
Much could depend on the availability of leading scorer Michael Harness who was absent last Saturday.
A win would cement Town’s position in the top four of the table while Humbertherm have managed just one win from their eight league games to date.
Town’s title-chasing reserves are also in action tomorrow when they visit Crown and Anchor in a Lincoln Saturday League game.
In-form striker Luke Blondel will be aiming to continue his prolific form as Town look to maintain their unbeaten run and keep the pressure on leaders RM Imp.
Meanwhile, the club’s junior teams will take centre stage at The Wong on Sunday.
Full details of fixtures and kick off times are available on Town’s website.
