High flying AFC Harpars face one of their biggest tests of the season when they take on title rivals CSSC Burton Arms in Division Two of the Lincoln Sunday League tomorrow.

The Horncastle-based side grabbed top-of-the-table spot last Sunday with an emphatic 7-0 thumping of Golden Cross.

Kyle Smith (3), Jamie Lamming, Daniel Boddily and Jamie Lewis were among the players on target.

Harpers are two points ahead of nearest challengers Trent Valley and three ahead of third placed Burton Arms in the race for the title.

However, Burton Arms have four games in hand and a victory for them tomorrow could see them installed as strong title favourites.

In other games, the Division One programme features Wragby FC in action at Rustons United looking to build on last week’s 1-1 draw at leaders Saxilby.

Scott Lowman grabbed Wragby’s all-important goal in the game and will be a key figure against top four chasing Rustons.

Woodhall Spa - beaten 6-0 last week - will be looking to bounce back and make the most of home advantage against Bassingham Bugle Horn.

In-form Bardney visit Shakespeare BBH in Division Four four while Horncastle Town’s Development Squad travel to Shakespeare Athletic in Division Five.
