Horncastle-based AFC Harpers will hit the cup trail tomorrow (Sunday) looking to continue their impressive start to the season.

Newly promoted Harpars kicked off their Division Two campaign in the Lincoln and District Sunday League last weekend with an eight goal victory against Hykeham Memorial.

Will Carter, Carl Smith and Jamie Lamming all bagged two goals each while Tony Edwards and Kyle Smith were also on target.

Tomorrow, Harpars visit CW Golden Eagle in the preliminary round of the Ron Eaglen Challenge Cup.

Bardney, Wragby and Woodhall Spa are also in action at the same stage of the competition tomorrow.

All three clubs are at home - Bardney to Green Barrel Athletic, Wragby to Heighington FC and Woodhall Spa to Hykeham Memorial.

Bardney, in particular, face a tough test after losing three players to injury in the opening 15 minutes of their league game at Poachers last Sunday.
