Soccersixes, Operators of the 6aside soccer league playing on Tuesday nights at Horncastle astroturf, has reached its 10-year anniversary and as a celebration they are offering free kits to all new teams.

Established in 2004, Soccersixes have grown from just a handful of organised competitions to over 300 small-sided football leagues across the UK and are now the largest network of FA affiliated small-sided leagues in the UK.

Providing football leagues for over 35,000 players weekly, Soccersixes have played a huge part in helping to increase participation numbers of people playing football both nationally and in the local area and they are proud to have been supported by players such as Lee Carsley, Gareth Barry, Ian Rush and Jermaine Defoe.

Development Director, Matt Scoffham, is very proud of Soccersixes’ achievements and said: “We are delighted to reach our 10-year anniversary knowing we have had such a positive impact on increased participation of the sport. During the last ten years, we have given players the opportunity to mix, make new friends and enjoy an organised weekly football league.”
