It all went wrong in the last 10-minutes for Coningsby Reserves as they crashed to a 4-2 defeat against Kirton Town Reserves in a re-arranged Boston League clash.

Stuart Clayton opened the scoring and put Coningsby ahead after five minutes with a fine individual goal.

The visitors levelled after 25 minutes following a goalmouth scramble.

Ten minutes into the second half, Coningsby’s unfortunate Alistair Robertson was credited with an own goal but Jamie Todd responded immediately afterwards.

Both sides then struggled in a sleet storm but Kirton were quickest to recover and managed to notch two goals in the closing stages tio take the points.
