Coningsby Reserves hosted top of the division Railway Athletic for a rescheduled Boston League Division Two match in beautiful sunshine on Saturday afternoon.

The first half was a largely two and fro affair with not a lot for the goalies to do, but just before the half time break Coningsby’s Sean Taylor put away a penalty kick in classic style for what turned out to be the only goal of the game.

The second half was a lot more energetic with the visitors doing their level best to get on the scoresheet.

Towards the end, tempers were getting a little frayed with frustration, a situation not helped at all by Railway failing to score from two penalties.
