Horncastle Town’s Under-10s celebrated the end of their season with their annual awards.

Striker Louis Robinson picked up the golden boot award after scoring an incredible 26 goals.

The young frontman put away 31 unofficial goals, with the league recognising 26 of them after a game was called off.

Goal of the Season was given to Callum Burgess with a chipped effort from 25-yards out against Louth Old Boys Blacks.

Anthony Clarkson was awarded Supporter’s Player of the Year and the award for Commitment and Effort was given to Joshua Baxter.

All the under-10 players were also presented with a medal after their last game of the season.

Head coach Bruce Baxter said: “It’s my first season as manager and it means a lot to see how well they have done this year.

“The parents have been so supportive too, there have been times when we’ve had 50 or 60 people watching.”

“It meant a lot to me seeing my son Joshua pick up his award too.

“I would also like to thank our sponsors Jollands Garage and JB Sports Coaching for their support this year.

“I wish all our under-10s the best next year.”
