FOR their first league game of the season Coningsby Reserves entertained Kirton Town Reserves amid the thundery downpours of Saturday afternoon.
After the visitors scored an early goal, play moved backwards and forwards between the sides with neither team achieving anything remarkable.
The second half, however, was a different story.
Coningsby suddenly came alive with Danny Cottingham and Sam Brader getting their names on the score sheet, followed by the star performance as captain Jamie Todd notched up a hat-trick in just six minutes.
