Three Woodhall Spa juniors have been called up to the ECB’s Premier League XI side to face the Norwegian U19 cricket team next week.

Jack Hughes will captain the side and wicket keeper Jack Timby and Lewis Holmes have also been called up.

They will be taking part in the fixtures at Nettleham CC on July 15, starting at 11am.

Woodhall Spa’s first team captain Jack Luffman said: “It’s fantastic seeing some of our juniors get picked after breaking into our side.

“We really want to bring our juniors on and it’s great to see these guys making a name for themselves.

“We won’t be around to play forever and these players are the future of the club.”
