CRICKET: Skipper Paige hoping Horncastle can bounce back

Skipper Nick Paige will be hoping his young Horncastle side can return to winning ways when they visit Holton-le-Clay tomorrow (Saturday) in their latest Lincolnshire County League Division One fixture.

Horncastle were left licking their wounds last Saturday after a heavy defeat against a strong Bracebridge Heath second string.

Chasing a formidable total of 246-8, Horncastle were dismissed for 60 after another worrying batting display.

While Horncastle were struggling in that game, Holton-le-Clay were beating Haxey seconds in a low scoring affair.

Paige will again lead a largely young and inexperienced side with all-rounder Harry Smith a key figure.

*Revesby will be looking to build on an impressive start to their Lincoln League campaign when they entertain Heighington.
