Horncastle skipper Nick Paige will be hoping his batsmen can hit top form tomorrow (Saturday) when they visit Cleethorpes Seconds in Division One of the Lincolnshire County League.

Horncastle have struggled for runs in several games this season and were 95-5 when rain caused last Saturday’s clash at home to Hartsholme to be abandoned.

Paiage and his squad will have to be at their best tomorrow with Cleethorpes sitting in the top four of the table.

In contrast, Horncastle are next-to-bottom although they do have a game in hand on most of their rivals.

*Horncastle’s Sunday team will have home advantage this weekend when they entertain local rivals Woodhall Spa in Division Three of the Chattertons McKinnells League at Coronationa Walk.

Horncastle have moved up the table in impressive style in recent weeks and will be looking to maintain that form against what promises to be a young Woodhall line-up.
