Horncastle skipper Nick Hill equalled Wilkinson’s tally and was then caught by Paul Bradley, with Fletcher the bowler once again.

Top scorer Richard Hickling (39) remained unbeaten to watch team-mates Peter George (1), Stephen West (1) and George Littleworth (0) go very cheaply to Whiteley. All three were caught , as was Ben Wilkinson (6) off a Wroot delivery.

Joel Hughes (10no) saw out the innings and the 45th over opposite Hickling.

Paul Bradley (2) went lbw off a George ball, whilst Ian Fletcher (5no) joined Hobson as the target was reached in 39.1 overs.
